Anime Zero Tidal High-Rise Guide

Climb through flooded floors, hold the gate and keep moving upward. Farm Chisa’s crafting ingredients on a difficulty you can finish consistently; Medium is an option when Nightmare runs keep failing.

THE SHORT ANSWER

Choose Tidal High-Rise and check the reward preview at your selected difficulty. Choose a target material on Hard (×2) or Nightmare (×3); use Medium if both are costing repeated failed runs. Craft Crimson Eclipse with 8 Shear Fragments, 7 Crimson Ribbon, 5 Thread Choker, then save the separate awakening set. Keep moving during the 11-floor climb.

Enter the right difficulty

  1. 01

Open Create Lobby, select Tidal High-Rise and choose Act 1.

  2. 02

Choose a difficulty you can clear. Start with Medium if Nightmare’s flood timer or bosses keep ending the run, then check the three crafting ingredients in that difficulty’s reward preview.

  3. 03

Bring a developed main and a partner you already know how to use. An unfinished new weapon is a farming target, not a requirement to enter.

  4. 04

Check the floor counter and Flood timer as soon as the run begins. Keep the stairs in view while gathering enemies for an area attack.

Medium, Hard or Nightmare: which should you farm?

Medium is a useful fallback when Nightmare clears are slow or unreliable. A failed climb spends time without completing the material farm. Finish a comfortable difficulty, then move up once your main weapon and survival tools can handle the timer.

Hard is the next step up: it offers a ×2 target bonus without Nightmare’s difficulty. Compare time per completed clear and failures, then choose a target material before you start.

The later Tidal queue walkthrough at 1:19–1:25 shows Easy, Hard and Nightmare panels. The revised Nightmare rates below replace the early 25% / 17% / 8% preview.

Nightmare is already comfortableNightmareKeep the higher per-clear chances if the extra time is worth it for your remaining ingredients.

Choose a Drop Target before farming

In Create Lobby, select the mode and difficulty, then scroll across Rewards and tap the material you need. The selected card changes to TARGETED. Nightmare gives that material ×3 drop chance; Hard gives ×2. Easy and Medium do not offer this bonus.

The percentage on the selected card already includes the bonus. In the Nightmare example, Crimson Ribbon changes from 19% to 57%; do not multiply 57% again. The other materials keep their own rates. Targeting improves the chance of a drop, not the quantity or the displayed pity threshold.

Pick the ingredient that is holding up your next recipe. Once you have enough, change the target before the next run. Check the reward panel again after switching difficulty.

Watch the Hard ×2 panel at 1:24 and the selected Nightmare Ribbon at 1:55. Both recordings were uploaded on October 18.

What to do when the water rises

The HUD tracks the climb as Floor 1/11 and shows a separate flood countdown. When PULL THE LEVER appears, use the interaction. The next message tells you to hold the gate while the water is held back; clear the enemies in that phase. Wait for the Floor blocked confirmation, which says the water is going down and tells you to climb.

Go upward as soon as the floor is blocked. Waiting beside a finished fight spends time without advancing the run. On Floor 7, use the walls for shelter during the blackout and high winds; the lever restores power. See the floor instruction at 6:00.

Astra + Frieren: a 6:12 Nightmare clear to follow

N1ckEMST’s October 21 walkthrough uses Astral Blossom and Silver Calamity. The result screen at 7:15 shows a 6:12 clear and 1.82M damage. Floor 10 rolls “Sprint, no time to fight,” which the creator calls a lucky outcome. Use this as a route example; your bosses, floor events, upgrades and mistakes can change the time.

Start with a pair you have already developed. The creator chooses Deadeye for Frieren; check your own Crit Chance before spending rerolls. Load the pair in the build planner, or check your four accessory slots.

  1. 01

0:43 — Pick the ingredient before entering. Select Nightmare and tap the material you still need in Rewards. Its ×3 target rate is already included in the selected card.

  2. 02

0:56 — Gather the parking-lot enemies. Move toward the middle and use Frieren’s third skill into the group. Refresh Astra’s support skill before returning to Frieren for damage.

  3. 03

1:59 — Reach the lever, then hold the zone. Follow the container crossing shown in the video. During Hold the gate, stay in the marked zone and watch the progress; move on when the gate opens.

  4. 04

3:47 — Choose blessings for your bottleneck. The creator takes early movement boosts while damage is sufficient, then takes Sharper Edge later. If waves still take too long, solve damage before copying the speed picks.

  5. 05

5:38 — Prepare to leave the floor. In this route, Astra’s third skill is used near 80% gate progress so the movement window is ready when the gate opens. The following floor’s Sprint event shortens this particular clear.

  6. 06

6:10 — Read the gate objective before chasing enemies. The walkthrough stays in the hold zone instead of running downstairs after newly spawned mobs. At the final fight, wait for the boss to appear before committing Frieren’s attack sequence.

Nightmare drops: before selecting a target

The later reward panel shows the following unselected chances. Pity belongs to each material separately. A 6-clear pity does not mean six clears will supply all the Ribbon needed for a recipe.

Selecting Crimson Ribbon changes its displayed rate from 19% to 57%, while its pity remains at 6. The other cards retain their own chances. Read the selected card directly and do not apply the target multiplier twice.

See named Ribbon and Thread Choker tooltips at 1:20–1:22, then the targeted Ribbon at 1:55.

IngredientUntargeted chance · quantityDisplayed pity target
Shear Fragments28% · 1–24 clears
Crimson Ribbon19% · 16 clears
Thread Choker14% · 110 clears

Craft first, then save the awakening set

From no weapon to awakened Crimson Eclipse, the two recipes consume 28 Shear Fragments, 19 Crimson Ribbon, 11 Thread Choker in total. The awakening also needs Story ingredients, 6.5 million Coins and 13,500 Gems. Thread Choker is an ingredient here; it is not an equipable neck accessory.

If you already crafted Chisa, select Already crafted in the planner. That removes the 8 / 7 / 5 craft spend and leaves only the awakening set. Enter what remains in your bag after crafting; materials already spent are not still owned.

The later crafting menu at 14:56 shows 7 Ribbon for the first craft. Earlier footage shows 10; use the later recipe when budgeting both stages.
