Anime Zero Traits
See what each Trait does, which rolls to keep and how to reroll at Matilda. Supernova and Deadeye lead our damage picks; Fortune is for farming.
Supernova and Deadeye are long-term damage picks. Ferocity, Sniper and Hunter can keep progression moving. Fortune serves a different purpose: improving farming rewards when you already clear comfortably.

How to reroll a Trait
- 01
Choose the weapon you expect to keep using.
- 02
Open the Traits area and interact with Matilda. Select the intended weapon.
- 03
Check your Trait Reroll balance and compare the existing bonus before rerolling.
- 04
Stop when you have a useful result for your current build. Save the remaining budget for later upgrades.

Match the Trait to the job
For damage, look at the combined effect of direct damage, attack speed, cooldown reduction and critical stats. A critical-damage bonus needs enough critical chance to matter. A cooldown roll is less valuable if other parts of the loadout already put you at the cap.
For farming, compare successful runs over time. Fortune’s rewards are useful only when the weapon still clears at a good pace. A slower or failed run can erase the benefit of a larger reward multiplier.
Frequently asked questions
Should I keep Fortune?+
Keep it for farming runs you finish reliably. If you are dying or running out of time, stick with a combat Trait until you can clear the stage.
Should a beginner chase Supernova immediately?+
A useful progression roll is enough to start. Chasing an extremely rare result can use all your rerolls before you have settled on a long-term weapon.
Where can I get more Trait Rerolls?+
Start with the current codes and inspect the reward previews for the content you can clear. Redeem level-gated rewards once eligible.
Is critical damage useful without critical chance?+
Only attacks that critically hit benefit from critical damage. Balance the two stats and check your complete loadout rather than judging the Trait in isolation.
