Open Create Lobby → West City. Clear Act 1 before West City Outskirts, then choose the difficulty you can repeat. For Aizen’s awakening, save 10 Hogyoku Ribbons and 5 Captain’s Haori from West City, plus the HXH Act 4 ingredients listed below.
Where to find West City and Act 2
The October 27 queue walkthrough at 0:50 shows both West City acts, four difficulty buttons and the material-target controls.

Open Create Lobby and select West City in the left-hand Story list, below HXH.

Start with Act 1: Story. Act 2 is named West City Outskirts and appears locked until you clear the preceding act.

Choose Easy, Medium, Hard or Nightmare. Compare a reliable clear with your next difficulty before committing a long farming session.

Scroll across Rewards and choose the ingredient you need before pressing Start.
Nightmare Act 1: Ribbon and Haori drops
These are the unselected material cards in the October 27 Nightmare Act 1 menu at 0:50. That menu offers ×3 targeting. Select the card before entering and use its resulting displayed percentage; do not multiply an already-targeted value again. The number before the slash is that player’s pity progress, not the number of items required.
This table applies to the shown act and difficulty. It does not assign the same rates to Easy, Medium, Hard or Act 2. Keep the material checklist open between runs and subtract what you have collected.

Split Aizen’s farming between two chapters
The Absolute Illusion guide brings all nine costs into one checklist. Owning enough West City drops does not replace the HXH items or currency. The planner keeps your saved inventory so you can switch routes without counting the same collected material twice.

Choose the next run from the ingredient you lack

Open Aizen in the planner and enter your current materials.

Farm West City while Ribbon or Haori is the remaining bottleneck. Move to HXH Act 4 when you only need its two ingredients.

Keep a developed main for farming. A newly summoned Aizen still needs the Evolution recipe to unlock the ultimate.

Include failures, loading and lobby time when comparing two difficulty choices. A harder reward panel is not automatically a faster farming route.

It is Act 2. Clear the preceding West City act before selecting it.
Does West City drop Aizen himself?+
Absolute Illusion is summoned in Arsenal. West City supplies Hogyoku Ribbon and Captain’s Haori for his awakening.
